Roundtable Meeting on Autism Scenario in Malaysia with ISAM2014 Speakers (21 April 2014)

Assalamualaikum and hi :)

In conjunction with the INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR ON AUTISM (ISAM) 2014 that was held on 22 to 23 April 2014 in Putrajaya, Malaysia, a short round table meeting with all ISAM2014 speakers was held at Putrajaya International Convention Center (PICC) on the day before the event.

These ISAM2014 posters can bee seen all over PICC
I was truly grateful to Dr Hasnah Toran (UKM) for inviting me to join the meeting. I had the wonderful opportunity of meeting all the international speakers who were known for their contribution in autism-based research, plus delegates from ASEAN countries who are responsible in ensuring the education well-being of children with autism in their respective countries.

The meeting discussed various issues on the overall scenario of autism in Malaysia, the availability and access to education for autistic children and also the Program PERMATA Kurnia Autisme center which will be opened in May 2015.
