Assalamualaikum  Hi everyone! Wow. September 2016 was a really manic month for us at the faculty. New students coming in, classes starting and researches to monitor as well. Not forgetting Eid Adha celebration too :)  It was a frenzied situation for me too as there were three events organized/co-organized by IEEE RAS Malaysia that needs full support from its ExCom members. For these three robotic events, we need to be in Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS in Seri Iskandar, Perak as it was the main venue. And the main program was ' Robot Fiesta Malaysia 2016 '. Awesome, right? Here are the pictures from the first event which was the NRC. I'll cover the other two in my next post. Assalamualaikum Last week I had the opportunity to visit Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) campus in Nilai for the first time. Alhamdulillah I get to present my paper at the 2nd International Convention on Islam, Science & Education (KONGSI'16). I presented a paper based on the work of my final year student. It was a good project on industrial robot and his work deserves to be published :) I woke up really early as the registration started at 8:00 am. The journey from Melaka took about 1 hour and 15 minutes. At the lobby of FPQS (the conference venue), many participants were already queuing up. My session was at 9:00 am.
