Random Ramblings: The 4's of Fantastic PhD

Assalam and hi :)

Comic from www.phdcomics.com :)

I am now officially in my final semester of PhD study. Being where I am now and looking back to the first day I started my study in HuRoBs lab (in August 2011), I have come out with the combination of the 4 elements that will make a fantastic PhD experience. These thoughts are entirely my own opinion and I'll take the time to elaborate more on this later.

The four elements are subsets of 3 main components of a PhD: 1) the doctorate candidate, 2)the supervisor and of course 3) the research topic.

The recipe for a stress-free PhD.
Also, I believe that one's success is also not heavily related to the university or institution where the study is being conducted. A lot of people out there may not agree with this statement but lets agree to disagree ya.

Remember to always love you PhD and enjoy the journey :)

Don't you just love this poster? Taken from www.theherstoryprofessor.net
