Calling all lady engineers out there! The Women Engineering Section of IEM is hosting the National Women Engineers Summit at the Equatorial Hotel, Penang on 25-26th November 2015. Theme: WE Diverse Work Life Towards Future Abtracts will be accepted on the understanding that they have not been previously published and they will not be published elsewhere prior to the Summit. Intending authors should submit a synopsis of their papers in  not more than 300 words  by  29th May 2015. Technical papers shall be papers which can be related to the objectives of the Summit.

What are your plans on 11th April 2015? The IEEE Women In Engineering (Malaysia Chapter) is organizing a 'Broga Hill Hiking' event to promote teamwork and hill ‘ Gotong-Royong ’ :) Non-IEEE members can also join in the hike! I'll be updating this post with pictures during the event. See you there.

Assalamualaikum My life's getting busier than ever and my days as a postgraduate student is numbered.  I do hope that it will last just a little while longer. I am so gonna miss my student life :) Reminiscing back to year 2012, I was part of the organizing team for the IRIS2012 conference which was held in Kuching, Sarawak. The whole event was a huge eye opener for me and most importantly I had also made some good friends alhamdulillah. I was the emcee for the opening ceremony. My boy and NAO Next Gen Amalina and me. This post is about the final data collection for my PhD, which is to conduct a survey specifically to gather feedback on the usability of my telerehabilitation website.  In rehabilitation robotics, robots perform tasks to help disabled humans replace the loss of body function, provide assistance in therapy and promote physical and cognitive engagement.  Presently, telecommunication technology eliminates distance barriers in healthcare services, allowing storage and access of treatment resources and patients’ information.  Tele-rehabilitation  refers to the delivery of rehabilitation services using the means of telecommunication technologies. To end 2014 in style, the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society Malaysia Chapter had orgnized the 2014 IEEE International Symposium on Robotics and Manufacturing Automation (ROMA2014) at Istana Hotel, KUala Lumpur from 15-16 December 2014. ROMA2014 is the first edition of the Robotics and Manufacturing Automation symposia which combines Robotics and Automation as its main elements. Insya Allah, papers in ROMA2014 proceedings will be archived in IEEE Xplore.  As my supervisor: Dr Hanafiah Yussof  is the Chair of IEEE RAS Malaysia and also General Chair of ROMA2014, naturally the whole team of at HuRoBs lab, UiTM were involved in organizing the conference.
