Lecture Title: THE PROCESS FOR MEASUREMENT, ASSESSMENTS AND EVALUATIONS OF PROGRAMME EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
Date: 21st May 2014
Time: 8.30 am – 12.00 noon
Venue: Al-Hidayah Seminar Room, Level 9, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, UiTM, Shah Alam
Speaker: Prof. Dr. Muhammad H. Rashid, University of West Florida
Lecture Synopsis:
The Malaysian Engineering Accreditation Council requires that the programme objectives must describe the expected achievements of graduates in their career and professional life a few years after graduation and these must be consistent with the mission and vision of the institution. There must also be a process of on-going assessment and evaluation that demonstrates the achievement of programme objectives with documented results; and evaluation results that are used in the continual improvement of the programme.

Speaker's Bio. Very impressive. |

Prof. Dr. Muhammad H. Rashid |
|
Prof. Dr. Muhammad H. Rashid's disclosure that the contents of the presentation and sharing of experiences are his personal opinions and not the official views of ABET |
|
His journey: what a long list of affiliations |
|
Before elaborating further, he stressed that all must know the definitions of PEO by EAC, Malaysia |
All in all, the lecture was very beneficial to all academicians/lecturers of engineering faculties who are directly related to EAC accreditation process. We were lucky as Prof Dr Rashid was not only a well-informed person but he also loves to share his experience and knowledge on the accreditation processes.
