CALL FOR PAPERS: 7th AMDI & INFORMM POSTGRADUATE INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH AND INNOVATION COLLOQUIUM 2023

Assalamualaikum wbth and hello everyone

The 7th AIPIRI 2023 Colloquium Committee would like to invite you to the colloquium which will be held on the beautiful island of Penang on 26-27 September 2023. We are looking forward to hosting you at Dewan Budaya, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM).

The theme is "Thriving in a complex world: Advancing Health and Well-Being through Science & Technology". Abstract submission is still open for topics on Health Sciences, Applied Sciences And Nano Technology, Toxicology and Natural Products, Bioinformatics, Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemical Sciences, Medical Sciences, Medical Physics, Biostatistics, Dental and Oral Science, Molecular Medicine, Complementary Health, Biomedical Sciences, and Biological Sciences. Selected manuscripts will have the opportunity to be published in MyCITE or SCOPUS-indexed journals.

In addition to technical papers and other colloquium events, attendees will have access to visiting the charming Penang island where city life mingles brilliantly with nature. Amid the charm and bustle of urban Georgetown, you’ll find the beautiful Batu Ferringhi beach, Penang Street Art, and delicious food ranging from Nasi Kandar to just about anything from Penang’s street stalls.

What is a hooding ceremony?

I have always been intrigued by this event called 'the hooding ceremony' since I began my student life in UiTM about 3 years ago. This term always come to my attention and 'pops out' during the UiTM convocation ceremony. Yesterday I saw a post on the hooding ceremony (again) when my other half was browsing through IPSis UiTM's FB page. IPSis wrote that 52 PhD graduates had successfully completed their studies in UiTM and will receive their scroll in the 81st convocation ceremony.
